WAC CALL FOR NOMINATIONS

The Annual Winnipeg Arts Council Awards

About the Winnipeg Arts Council Awards
The 11th annual Winnipeg Arts Council Awards will be presented on Thursday June 8 at the Fort Garry Hotel as part of the Mayor’s Luncheon for the Arts.  The Awards celebrate the artists, arts administrators, and patrons whose dedication makes Winnipeg a centre for cultural achievement and a true City of the Arts.
Winnipeg Arts Council Awards winners are chosen by a jury composed of members of Winnipeg’s diverse arts and business communities.  The jury considers all eligible submissions received and then determines the final list of Nominees as well as the Award winner in each category.
The deadline to propose a nomination for this year’s Winnipeg Arts Council Awards is Tuesday, April 4, 2017.
