Payment: instructors will be paid $300 to teach the workshop
Application Process: selected workshop instructors will be notified by May 31, 2017
Further enhancing the connection between visitor and maker, CRAFTED 2017 will feature a live craft demonstration area. We are seeking six-to-eight artists to conduct demos over the course of the two-day event.
How to Apply: submit via email to

  • your name, address, phone number, and email address
  • a brief description of what you hope to demonstrate; the optimal length of time required for your set up, tear down, and demonstration; and any set up requirements

Payment: artists will receive a $100 honorarium
Application: selected artists will be notified by May 31, 2017
Artists may apply to be a vendor, a workshop instructor, and a demonstration facilitator. Participating CRAFTED vendors are responsible for finding someone to mind their table while leading a workshop and/or giving a demonstration.
The CRAFTED Committee serves as jurors for the selection process. Priority will be given to work that showcases excellence in technique, originality, innovation, and aesthetic.
To ensure the show reflects the breadth of relationships the WAG enjoys with artisans in the community, a select number of artists from Nunavut, Nunatsiavut, and the Northwest Territories will be invited to participate.
For consistent messaging, artisans will be given materials to publicize the event through their own contacts and social media channels. It is understood and agreed by the participating artisans that images and biographical information submitted with this application may be used for promotional purposes.
