Craft is a slow process that is best understood through participation. The Manitoba Craft Council has always aimed to promote and advocate for fine craft and its makers in Manitoba, and we are excited to be offering high quality, craft-based workshops to the public at C2 Centre for Craft.

 

 

 

Meet your Instructor:

Sarah Sense

Sarah Sense creates photo-weavings with traditional Chitmacha/Choctaw techniques, her own photography, and found imagery. Sense is from Sacramento, California and currently lives in Bristol, England.  She has participated in numerous residencies and exhibited work internationally.  Her current research focuses on Native North American histories in England which will be explored with her first permanent installation in Plymouth, England (2020).  Her work Cowgirls and Indians will be at Urban Shaman Gallery from February 1 – March 16, 2019.
