CraftED: Belt-Bag or Mini-Purse Workshop with Tesh Kosowan

Craft is a slow process that is best understood through participation. The Manitoba Craft Council has always aimed to promote and advocate for fine craft and its makers in Manitoba, and we are excited to be offering high quality, craft-based workshops to the public at C2 Centre for Craft.

Meet your Instructor: Tesh Kosowan of Snootsie

Textile artist Tesh Kosowan holds a multi-disciplinary Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design.  In 2007, she started producing bags under the label SNOOTSIE.  Previously a painter, she now explores colour, texture and pattern with textiles, drawing inspiration from classic and modern design.  Working mostly in leather and canvas, all of Kosowan’s bags are carefully and individually crafted in her Winnipeg studio.
