Open to all contemporary artists throughout the year (except February). During the residency, artists are encouraged to create a new body of work, engage in conversations with artists from Mainland China and around the world.
Untitled Space is an artist-run gallery and residency based in Zhujiajiao, Shanghai. As the title ‘Untitled’ suggests, we strive to provide a creative space and exchange platform for contemporary artists without any restrictions and boundaries. Untitled Space is dedicated to showcasing contemporary art exhibitions, artist in residence program and providing workshops for the public, etc. In addition, United Space encourages collaboration between international artists and local artists in the context of Chinese contemporary society; where multicultural expression sparks fresh perspectives and ideas.
