MCC Communications and Adminstration Coordinator

16 hours per week, occasional evening and weekend shifts
$16-17/hour (depending on experience) + 3 weeks vacation/year
Start date: Monday, October 28, 2019

 

MCC seeks a Communications and Administration Coordinator who will be responsible for : programme and event promotion, membership and donor services, day to day finance, administrative support to staff and board, facility scheduling, engaging with visitors and volunteers at C2 Centre for Craft, and assisting with fundraising events and initiatives.

This position is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a thriving arts organization. The ideal candidate is an effective and creative communicator with a passion for promoting craft and its makers.  They are highly organized and detail-oriented, able to juggle a range of adminstrative tasks with professionalism and care.  Experience working in an artist-run centre or non-profit setting would be an asset.  The candidate must be able to work collaboratively with MCC staff, board, and volunteers.

MCC is a member driven organization dedicated to promoting, supporting and advocating for fine contemporary craft in Manitoba. The MCC shares a facility and works in close partnership with the Manitoba Crafts Museum and Library at the C2 Centre for Craft. C2 is wheelchair accessible.
