In partnership with the Winnipeg Foundation, the Manitoba Arts Council is excited to announce a new funding opportunity: the Arts Leaders program, open to individuals who identify as Indigenous, Black, and/or People of Colour (IBPOC).
Arts Leaders will support the building of leadership capacity by individuals who identify as IBPOC, including arts and cultural professionals, Indigenous Knowledge Keepers, and professional artists. Applicants can pursue mentorship and/or training opportunities, post-secondary arts and cultural leadership studies, independent proposals for self-directed leadership skill development, and more.
Applications to the Arts Leaders program will be assessed by arts practitioners from across Canada who identify as IBPOC.
