Safe at Home: Indigenous Collections

When: Thursday, March 25 | 7:00 PM

Where: Online via the Seven Oaks House Museum Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/SevenOaksHouseMuseum

Cost: Free

The last session will showcase Indigenous beadwork and embroidery.  This week our Curators are joined by Jennine Krauchi, a Métis artist who specializes in beadwork and embroidery, and has studied many historic pieces in museum collections. She will provide live commentary on objects in our collections.

There will also be a discussion of pests like insects that can damage this type of item and ways to store them safely in your own “safe at home museum.”
