The Cheongju Craft Biennale Organizing Committee will hold the 11th Cheongju International Craft Competition in 2021. The Cheongju International Craft Competition, which began in 1999, is a festival for existing craft artists and rising talents where they can express their skills and ability to the fullest extent on the equal ground of crafts.
A craft competition that reflects the flow of modern crafts/arts and discovers the value of future crafts. The Craft Competition seeks artists in the Craft field or artists whose work contains the characters of Craft. The [Craft City lab Competition] seeks curators, art directors etc. as it is to foster diverse studies, research, and project ideas, including art, culture, and crafts stemming from the relationship between Cheongju and craft for Cheongju to grow as the Craft City.
