The Earring Show 2022

CCBC brings you year 8 of our annual fundraiser packed full of creative talent. The Earring Show is an exciting exhibition and sales opportunity for contemporary, designer-makers producing wearable art in a whole host of mediums.

The Earring Show is a fund-raiser held on Thursday, May 5th, 2022, online. All funds raised from the event go towards CCBC, its programs, and to help promote contemporary crafts to BC and Canada. We are pleased to report that The Earring Show continues to grow each year, with 2020 seeing a 40% increase in earring sales from the previous year, and a 26% increase in 2021. The number of applicants rose by 19%, seeing a wider spread of artists engaging in the event.

In 2020, due to the global pandemic, The Earring Show successfully transitioned to an online event, with online sales, and a live virtual show that included special guests and hosts, and featured the winning artists of each category. The virtual edition of The Earring Show show saw a reach of over 4700 viewers.
