Registration deadline: August 17, 2023

This fall the MCC is excited to present a grant writing workshop with Barb Hunt!

This workshop will give participants the basics on how to apply for a grant in craft/visual art. The elements of a grant submission will be covered, with a focus on how to write a proposal. Based on her experience working on juries for Canada Council and provincial arts councils, Barb Hunt will explain how juries work and give participants advice on how to improve their chances of getting a grant. There will be information on a variety of funding sources, as well as other ways to support an art practice.

This event is open to all MCC members and is both in-person and online.  There are a limited number (12) of in-person spots available for those able to attend at the C2 Centre for Craft, and unlimited online registration. You can find the registration forms below!
