Relief Printing without a Press

In this workshop participants will learn how to design, carve, and print their own relief prints. The workshop will focus on various methods for printing at home without a printing press onto paper or fabric. Inspired by Eric Bergman’s prints in the Manitoba Craft Guild exhibition and collection, participants can take inspiration from local plants and landscape for their prints.

Participants can bring a black and white design (4” x 5.5”) created ahead of time or make one during the workshop inspired by plants and reference images.
