MCML Workshop: Parol Making with Diane Espiritu

Parol Making Workshop with Diane Espiritu

A star shaped beacon of light and hope, the Parol lantern leads our traditional Filipino holiday processions that take place in the festive rich month of December.

They are hung in windows and in doorways in homes across the world to symbolize the triumphal nature of light during the seasons’ longest nights.

In this 3 hour workshop you will be crafting a Filipino lantern constructed from bamboo and decorated with fine handmade papers.
